In this video we set out to convert and install electric emergency brakes to this 1967 Mustang with S197 rear disc brakes. The rear brake brackets are from Mustang Steve. It started its life as a coupe and was converted to a fastback. I have full videos on the coupe to fastback conversion. The modifications continue on this Restomod. Next steps are drivetrain and EFI add-on installations. Stay tuned for more. This mod could apply to a slew of Restomod trucks and cars. 1968 Mustang fastback is still a work in progress. But it’s a daily and running great so far. I have a lot of interior ideas for upgrades but nothing fancy and all functional. The driving experience has really be a great one with the suspension set up. If you haven’t seen all the mods to the suspension check out the vids I uploaded on the SN95 set up. Gearing has been perfect with a 3.0 rear gear but matched to a 8spd transmission. No loss of power-band at any speed.
Who knows…maybe we will put a front bumper on tomorrow. 68 Mustang living it up. #mustangfastback
